PRACTICE RECKLESS OPTIMISM.

I took this photo in Asbury Park, New Jersey, sometime in the past 3 or 4 years. It was right by the boardwalk, and I don't remember what I was there for; I just remember seeing this graffiti plastered on the side of the wall. It struck a chord with me, and this is the only good photo I ever got of it- I think I was in a hurry because of my family?
Asbury's known for their murals - it's a really artsy area, with a lot of beautiful paintings on the sides of buildings. But this is technically "vandalism", and didn't look super official, so I kind of doubt it was allowed to be put on that wall in the first place. Either way, it's probably been washed off by now, so I don't think I can go looking for it again.
The thing is: I don't know who Sarah is. I don't think I ever will. But this photo always just... stuck with me.

In loving memory.
